Thank you for choosing Canada Flowers Network! Below are some helpful tips . These frequently asked questions are being provided for information purposes only and do not constitute binding representations or warranties.
A local delivery fee of $13.00 will be added to each order, for each address. (For deliveries outside our local delivery area, this fee may vary.) International orders must be received before 12:00 noon in the recipient’s time zone to assure same-day delivery. Orders received after that time will be delivered the following day. We will do our best to accommodate deliveries at specific times of day, but we cannot guarantee it. We are unable to make deliveries on Sundays. Deliveries requested on this day will be delivered the following business day. Delivery of orders to rural route addresses or cemeteries cannot be guaranteed. Delivery fee for basket orders may vary. Some areas will necessitate a delivery surcharge. On event days this delivery fee may be higher. This will also be advised before your order is completed. Before major holidays, we recommend that you place your orders at least two days in advance.
Canada Flowers Network accepts all major credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard You will be asked to select the card type during the Checkout process. You will know that your credit card details are being transferred to Canada Flowers Network by looking for the padlock or unbroken key icon that will appear either at the top or bottom of your browser whenever you are providing us with personal information.
You will also notice that our order page’s URL link will starts with ‘https://’; most non-secure pages would usually begin with ‘http://’ instead. Your information on Canada Flowers Network is protected by our firewalls and other security systems. We also have strict organisational procedures in place to ensure that the integrity of your data is maintained at all times. Your bank can also provide you with additional information regarding the security of your credit cards.
Every transaction you make online using your credit card with Canada Flowers Network will be safe. This means that you will always know what you are paying for. In the event of unauthorised use of your credit card, you must notify Canada Flowers Network immediately of the charge and we will arrange for it to be reversed as soon as it is deemed as a valid error. In cases where it is deemed necessary, Canada Flowers Network may request to see your bank statement relating to your claim prior to taking action, these records must be a scanned, photographed or photocopied version in order to be accepted. Same-day delivery can only be guaranteed for flower products to Calgary and surrounding areas if these orders are received before 2pm Monday to Friday & 10am on Saturdays (all time based on local time of the recipient’s location) and subject to the limitations in the next paragraph.
Same Day Orders that are not possible due to stock availability or geographic location of the recipient may be processed on the next available delivery date. There is no delivery on Sundays or local Public Holidays unless it is an event day. Deliveries requested on this day will be delivered on the next available delivery date.
Canada Flowers Network cannot guarantee delivery on Public Holidays in the province of Alberta as couriers may not be available. All orders that are affected are rescheduled to the next available delivery date. Please check the Public Holidays listing by the government of the recipient’s local area before placing your order.
Cut off time for flower orders will be 2 business days before Christmas. Due to the large volume of orders that Canada Flowers Network will be delivering for Christmas, we cannot guarantee or provide a delivery time for these orders. Rest assure, your order will be delivered as soon as humanly possible, but any orders placed after the cut off time may not be delivered until the next available delivery day after the Christmas holidays.
The cut off time for Valentine’s Day delivery for any flower orders is the business day before 14th of February. Due to the large volume of orders Canada Flowers Network will be delivering for Valentine’s Day, we cannot guarantee or provide a delivery time for these orders. Rest assure, your order will be delivered as soon as humanly possible, but any orders placed after the cut off time may not be delivered until the next available delivery date after Valentine’s Day.
The cut off time for flower orders is the business day before Mother’s Day. Due to the large volume of orders and availability of couriers in some areas on Mother’s Day, it may be necessary for us to have some orders delivered on the day before Mother’s Day. Due to the large volume of orders that Canada Flowers Network will be delivering for Mother’s Day, we cannot guarantee or provide a delivery time for these orders. Rest assure, your order will be delivered as soon as humanly possible, but any orders placed after the cut off time may not be delivered until the next available delivery date after Mother’s Day.
The cut off time for flower orders is the business day before Mother’s Day. Due to the large volume of orders and availability of couriers in We do not guarantee delivery to the following places due to access difficulties: hospitals (especially Intensive Care Units), army, airforce, naval bases, ships, jails, cemeteries, secure buildings, hotels and mines.
Canada Flowers Network cannot guarantee delivery to some rural addresses and remote locations. To request a specific delivery time, please type it into the Special Instructions field during checkout. We will do our best to accommodate your preferences. As weekend delivery may not be possible in most of these areas due to unavailability of courier services, delivery will be automatically adjusted to the next available delivery date.
Some deliveries may be required to be collected from the nearest town or depot; if this is the case the recipient will be notified. Due to random scheduling & coverage of delivery route going to rural areas that is beyond the control of Canada Flowers Network, some orders may arrive 1-3 day earlier or later.
When placing your order going to a recipient in a hospital or nursing home, please be sure to include the hospital name and telephone number, the name of the recipient and room number or ward of the recipient. Orders are sent in accordance with facility procedures. As most hospitals do not allow florists to personally deliver to individual rooms. Please note that many ICU patients are not permitted to receive flowers, and some hospitals do not allow lillies or latex balloons due to allergen reasons. Please check with the hospital before placing your order. As orders are likely to be left with the hospital warden or staff, Canada Flowers Network is not responsible for the safety or the remaining delivery of your order beyond the point of drop-off.
Canada Flowers Network treat funeral orders with the highest priority. To ensure your order is processed as smoothly as possible, you must include the following information in the Address Details or Special Instructions: Full name of the deceased, name and address of the funeral home and name and phone number of a relative, and date and time of the funeral. Please avoid delivery to the homes of the diseased as it is usually unwelcomed by the family to have to carry the flowers to the funeral home.
When placing your order going to a recipient in an office, please be sure to include the business name and telephone number, the name of the recipient and room number or indication of the area the recipient is located. You must include the hours the recipient is available on premise or whether to have the order delivery to the reception or administration office. As orders are likely to be left at the reception, Canada Flowers Network is not responsible for the safety or the remaining delivery of your order beyond point of drop-off. If no hours are provided, Canada Flowers Network will assume the recipient is available according to regular business hours of 9am to 5pm.
It is required that you select a delivery time of by 3pm or earlier. Please consider when school holidays are when placing your order. Please clearly indicate the school name and if the recipient is a student or a staff on premise. As orders are likely to be left at the reception, Canada Flowers Network is not responsible for the safety or the remaining delivery of your order beyond point of drop-off. If premise cannot be accessed or the order cannot be left on premise leading to a second or subsequent delivery attempt, an additional delivery fee may be charged.
Many private residences are not directly accessible by couriers and when it is not possible to leave the order at the office or security centre of the building, the recipient will be contacted to either retrieve the order at the entrance or assist the courier to gain access into the premise (usually by contacting the security office of the building to allow the drop-off). If the recipient cannot be contacted or is not available leading to a failed delivery, an additional delivery fee may be charged.
Please indicate clearly if the recipient is a guest or a staff at the location. The following must be included in the order information to ensure the success of your delivery: Hotel or Resort name, room name or number and address. If the recipient has vacated or checked-out of the hotel or resort at the time of delivery, the standard processing fee and delivery fee will be charged for the order. If a different address is provided after a failed attempt for delivery, an additional delivery fee may be charged.
Canada Flowers Network will make every effort to complete each order as requested. Images shown on Canada Flowers Network websites are for reference only. As food items vary regionally and are not always available, we are unable to guarantee the inclusion of the items shown in our images. Canada Flowers Network will make reasonable substitutions when necessary. Gift Baskets cannot be ordered with flowers due to delivery restrictions. Our advertised delivery costs are calculated per box. If your order exceeds the number of products that can fit in one box for the advertised delivery charge, we may contact you before dispatching if additional payment is required.
If no one is home to accept the delivery, Canada Flowers Network standard procedure is to leave the gifts safely at the premises where possible. Exceptions to this rule are: alcohol products which cannot be left without a signature, premises where our courier deems that it is not safe to leave the gift unattended, or if you specifically request in your order for the gift not to be left at the premises if it is unattended. In these instances the gift will either be taken to the nearest post office and a calling card left at the premises, or it will be returned to our office and we will be in contact to arrange a second delivery.
Both of these outcomes will result in an additional re-delivery charge to be debited to the customer’s paying credit card, so we suggest that you ensure the premises is attended on the delivery day. You will be contacted by our Store to advise that they are doing so when possible. Please note that although you may request for a delivery date, we cannot specify a time of day for delivery. During special event days, such as Christmas, Valentine’s Day, & Mother’s Day, additional time may be required for delivery due to the overwhelming amount of orders. It is strongly recommended to have your order placed 1 full week ahead of your desired delivery date during these busy times to ensure a successful delivery.
Except where noted otherwise, the price for each product is clearly shown on our website. The total order price, including delivery (and surcharges, if any) are shown on your order page during the checkout process prior to order confirmation. All prices are shown in the currency of the country where flowers are ordered (although you can change the currency if you wish).
Delivery fee is different based on the location your order is going to. Should it be discovered that the address information you submit is inaccurate and an alternative address is given, you may be contacted to collect the proper delivery amount.
During promotions, our website may offer discount when a voucher code is used. These promotions are only valid when the said voucher code is entered into the Promotion Code box during your checkout process while ordering through our website. You may use only one voucher code or promotion code per order; each code may not be valid when used in combination with other promotional offers.
